AUSSIES ABROAD: Australian defender Eddy Bosnar scored an own goal as Shimizu S-Pulse went down 4-0 to Sanfrecce Hiroshima in Japan's J.League on Saturday.
The 31-year-old uncapped veteran put a clearance from Kota Hattori's cross into his own net on 39 minutes.
Earlier Tadanari Lee had given Sanfrecce the lead, and he struck again in the second-half along with David Mujiri to complete an emphatic result.
Bosnar's Shimizu have now suffered two 4-0 defeats in the past week and slide down to eighth on the league table.
The veteran defender put in a full shift for Shimizu along with Alex Brosque who also played a full game.
Elsewhere in Japan's J.League on Saturday, Socceroo Matthew Spiranovic put in a full shift at the back as Urawa Reds claimed a 1-0 win at Kawasaki Frontale. Urawa have now moved up to 10th.
