Brazil coach Mano Menezes has called striker Leandro Damiao into his squad to face Scotland in a friendly at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday with Alexandre Pato and Nilmar doubtful.
AC Milan striker Pato has a sprained ankle while Villarreal forward Nilmar has a muscle problem and both are being assessed by the team doctor, it was confirmed on the Brazil Football Federation's official website.
The pair are still due to report with the squad on Thursday in London.
Internacional's Leandro Damiao, 21, has scored 13 goals this year.
