Sydney and Adelaide won't be the only Australian representatives in the Asian Champions League when the tournament kicks off on Wednesday night.
Sydney-based referee Matthew Breeze will officiate the Group F match between Bangkok University (Thailand) and Chunnam Dragons (Korea) which will be played at the Thai-Japanese Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand.
The 34 year-old will be assisted by fellow Australians Jason Power and Jim Oularis, with Ben Williams appointed as the fourth official.
Breeze is a somewhat surprising choice after some sub-par performances in the A-League Finals Series this year but has a wealth of experience in the middle, including refereeing at the Confederations Cup in 2005.
