NORTH Queensland Fury defender Brett Studman has vowed to bounce back from his heartbreak following his own goal in the club's A-League defeat against Adelaide United.
He attempted to block a Lucas Pantelis shot, only for the ball to end up in the back of the Fury net.
"It was heartbreaking, especially when we lost (3-2) it's devastating," Studman told the Townsville Bulletin.
But the player certainly won't dwell on the incident and is already looking ahead to the next challenge.
"I can leave it behind straight away," he said.
Studman is also being backed to bounce back by vice-skipper Gareth Edds.
He aded: "He's a tough competitor and a strong character.
"We'll have a chat with him to see how he is, but he's just been fantastic since he's been here the kid's got a great deal of confidence and I don't think anything will faze him."
