SOCCEROO Nathan Burns's new club AEK Athens got off to a winning start in the Super League with a 2-1 victory over Panathinaikos in Sunday's big game.
Edinho put AEK in front in the 20th minute and Ismael Blanco doubled the lead from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
