Livingston Chairman Pearse Flynn told BBC Sport, "We have had 10 people apply for the job within four or five hours of the news being announced. We have to get someone with the right chemistry.” It is believed the club is aiming to increase spending on players over the next few seasons.
The other leading candidates linked with the job are Craig Brewster, Joe Miller and Bobby Williamson. Livingston are currently sitting sixth however the club’s board had been anticipating to be challenging for the top position.
