SOCCEROO star Tim Cahill has joined this week’s FourFourTwo Insider podcast to discuss Saturday’s tie with Paraguay and Everton’s early season woes.
With a knee injury that could still rule him out of playing against Paraguay, Cahill weighs up the likelihood of him playing and what we can expect from our South American opposition at the weekend. There is also time to chat why Everton always seem to start the season slowly and if we have an answer on his participation in the Asian Cup in January yet.
Elsewhere the pod squad discuss the round that was in the A-League, the Melbourne derby and the best of the weeks news, such as Schwarz still wanting his Arsenal move and the Socceroo demanding Asian Cup action.
Cahill took the time to speak to us as Optus launch their Optus Small-sided Football Awards - which you can find out more information about when the website (optus.com.au/footballawards) launches on Monday. Go here to find out more about Optus Small Sided Football - a modified form of the 11-a-side football game that is tailor made for children from under 6s to under 11s.
