Antonio Cassano will have a chance to play football again for Sampdoria following a ruling tonight made by the Lega Serie A arbitration panel.
Cassano was dropped from the Samp squad in October following a heated argument with club president Riccardo Garrone in the dressing room.
The club attempted to rescind his contract for insubordination but were unsuccessful and both parties agreed to go to arbitration.
Cassano has been told by the Lega Serie A that he will be suspended until January 31, 2011 and that his wages will be reduced by 50% for the duration of his contract, which expires in June 2013.
