Melbourne City have found form again, coming off two important wins, albeit against teams they should have beaten. Ross McCormack and Daniel Arzani have been the spark.

For the Central Coast Mariners, a promising draw against Melbourne Victory was followed by an M1 derby loss, but their performance in that game had them holding on to hope of a positive result.

Harrison Delbridge marked the occasion with a streetfighter-esque challenge and saw Red half way through the first half.

It was a hurricane in the form of Lachlan Wales’ set-piece delivery that separated the two sides for most of the contest. He has now assisted the last three Mariners goals.

But a blistering shot from Marcin Budzinski levelled the scores and City came away with a hard-fought point from Gosford.

So who blew like Twister and who had a masterpiece like The Wizard of Oz? Read below to find out!

Ben Kennedy – 7.5 - Very good reactions to deny Ross McCormack on a few occasions. Was beaten twice by two very good shots but otherwise had another great game.

Jake McGing – 7 - Stayed high for most of the afternoon and Scott Jamieson kept him honest. Clever header over Dean Bouzanis to give the Mariners a 2-1 lead.

Alan Baro – 7.5 - Strong headed finish from a set-piece for the centre half! His first A-League goal. Did okay defensively but was over-shadowed by Antony Golec's work.
