BRISTOL CITY VS LEEDS UNITED (SUNDAY, 1AM AEDT)

The big talking point: Bristol City’s promising start to the season. The Robins are unbeaten in their last 10 Championship fixtures and are the form side heading into their encounter with Leeds.

Lee Johnson’s men struggled to break down a resilient Burton Albion in their last match which ended in a 0-0 stalemate. They’ll be hoping that goals are easier to come by this time around as they face a Leeds outfit which are hot on their heels on the Championship table.

What will happen: A repeat of last season’s result. The Robins don’t have the best of records against their visitors heading into this encounter, with eight losses and just the one win. However, their sole victory came in this fixture last campaign where Bristol triumphed 1-0 at Ashton Gate.

What won’t happen: Leeds won’t retain their spot in the Championship playoffs. As it stands, United sit in sixth place on the ladder in the final promotion qualification spot. Since the end of September, Thomas Christiansen’s men have lost three on the trot and a loss on Saturday will most likely cost them their playoff place and further derail their campaign.

FFT predicts: 2-1
