Messina goalkeeper Nicholas Caglioni has been handed an indefinite suspension after testing positive for cocaine.
The Italian Olympic Committee announced on Monday that the 24-year-old tested positive for the drug after the 1-1 Serie A draw with Catania on February 11 and he has now been banned pending a league disciplinary committee hearing.
Caglioni has the option of asking for his 'B' sample to be tested, but could face a suspension of up to two years.
Last month, Sampdoria captain Francesco Flachi was handed a ban after also testing positive for cocaine.
