Crystal Palace have become the sixth Premier League club to reveal their 2019/20 home strip before the season’s end, with the Eagles debuting the kits in their 5-3 win at home overnight against Bournemouth.

With the new jersey having only been announced on Twitter a few hours beforehand, many of the home supporters would have been surprised when they saw the team take to the pitch with an all-new look.

Palace have freshened up next season’s design by complimenting their traditional red and blue stripes with white detailing, replacing yellow as the kit’s third colour for the first time since their 2011/12 campaign.

White, fading pinstripes represent a new element introduced to the otherwise standard red and blue stripes design for which the club is known.

The shirt’s white collar and sleeve trims compliment the similarly whited-out Puma logo and front-of-shirt sponsor, ‘ManBetX’.

The 2019/20 home strip is finished off with red-trimmed blue shorts and primarily blue socks, which feature a single, thick red band with white trim.

Having finished their Premier League campaign in 12th after last night’s result, the Eagles will look to break into the top 10 next season, especially if they can retain the services of hot prospects Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Wilfried Zaha.
