FourFourTwo understands De Silva is set to exit after falling down the pecking order at the Dutch Eredivisie club.

The 19-year-old has made nine appearances for Roda JC this term after starting the season as a regular. He has played just once in the past seven league fixtures.

De Silva joined Roda in August 2015 from Perth Glory on a two-year loan. That loan is set to expire at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.

De Silva's future club is unknown, but he is expected to stay in Europe and could move to Italian club AS Roma.

The attacking midfielder did not travel with the Roda squad to Portugal for the club's training squad in January.

De Silva came through the ranks of Glory and has represented Australia at Under-17, Under-20 and Under-23 levels.
