Milos Degenek will miss the Socceroos' next round of World Cup qualifying after suffering an injury playing for club side 1860 Munich.
Degenek was substituted in the 57th minute of 1860's 2-2 draw with St. Pauli in the 2.Bundesliga on Friday.
The Australian suffered an injury to his left knee, confirming he will be out of action for a "good while".
The injury is set to keep him out of Australia's upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Saudi Arabia (October 7) and Japan (October 11).
"Well that rules me out for a good while... hope my team does the job tomorrow," Degenek wrote via Instagram.
And good luck to the Socceroos in our World Cup qualifiers!! I'll be back stronger and better than ever hard work starts now!!!
"Positive mind is half the job. Be strong today because things will get better. It may be stormy now but it never rains forever.!!!"
