EXCLUSIVE: Adelaide United striker Bruce Djite is now attracting interest from Europe after a superb start to the new A-League season.
au.fourfourtwo.com understands that at least one club from the big four European leagues is looking at the young striker as a possible January transfer window target.
"Bruce is now on the radar of some big clubs," a source close to Djite says.
Djite, 20, who scored his first A-League goal for Adelaide United in their round one clash against Roar, continued his good form with an assist and a strong showing against Sydney FC last week in round two.
The US-born former AIS forward forms a deadly duo with fellow starlet Nathan Burns, a player who is also attracting the headlines.
United's coach Aurelio Vidmar has been fulsome in his praise of Djite and Burns in recent weeks, saying they form a major part of the team's structure.
If Djite was to leave the Reds, the club would be expected to receive a fee for the player who is currently under contract at Hindmarsh.
Djite is currently in camp with the Olyroos ahead of their Olympics qualifiers against North Korea and Lebanon.
In June, he gained experience with the Socceroos as a train on player ahead of July's Asian Cup.
What do you think? Should Djite stay and see out this season and play in the ACL then go overseas? Or should he go in the January transfer window to Europe?
