SWITZERLAND coach Kobi Kuhn has axed defender Mario Eggimann and striker Thomas Haberli from his squad for Euro 2008.
The duo were included in Kuhn's preliminary party, but have missed out on places in the final 23-man line-up.
Haberli, who plays for Young Boys, had only been called up as a replacement for the injured Blaise Nkufo.
The co-hosts kick off their Euro 2008 campaign against Czech Republic in Basel on June 7 before taking on Turkey and Portugal.
