Holland, who have already secured top spot in the pool and a quarter-final place, could ensure pre-tournament favourites Italy and France are dumped out of the competition by losing to second-placed Romania.

France coach Raymond Domenech, whose side were thrashed 4-1 by the Dutch yesterday, is "convinced" Marco van Basten's team will not have the same will to win against the Romanians.

Van Basten may opt to rest a host of his leading players with the knockout stages in mind but Henry believes whichever team Holland field in Bern will play fair.

"When you look at their players who came on during the match (against France), you can see that they know how to make the difference," said the Barcelona striker.

"Holland will give their all, no matter who is on the pitch. If van Basten changes his team, the guys would want to show that they can start in the following matches."

France defender Lilian Thuram added: "Honestly, I trust them.

"I am not even thinking about it. For me, such a thing does not exist."

Domenech said after the defeat by Holland, which left Les Bleus with only one point from two matches: "There is still a possibility for both teams (France and Italy), but it depends on the other match now.

"Holland now have six points and I am convinced they won't field the same players and won't have the same energy.

"We just have to keep hoping."
