NICK Leggatt from Victoria was stunned when told he is the winner of EA Sports’ FIFA14 competition – and being a Manchester City fan makes it even sweeter.
TO mark the upcoming launch of the FIFA14; EA SPORTS™, the official sports technology partner of the Barclays Premier League, and FourFourTwo joined forces to offer one reader the chance to attend the four games in the Barclays Asia Trophy in Hong Kong. The tournament will feature Manchester City as well as Spurs and Sunderland.
Nick’s winning entry to the five word headline competition was: “FIFA 14: Join the (Precision) Movement”
Now, he is off to Hong Kong for an all-expenses paid trip with flights and accommodation included.
He joins FourFourTwo editor Aidan Ormond and will attend all four of the Barclays Asia Trophy games.
Nick will also get exclusive access to get hands on with the new FIFA 14 and attend the professional player’s tournament as they battle with their teammates to become their club’s FIFA 14 champion.
Like many winners of 442 competitions, Nick thought his mates were winding him up.
“I found out two days ago and was a bit sceptical at first. But now I know it’s true it’s awesome!” he told au.fourfourtwo.com.
Nick was “gutted” after losing out on winning a pair of nitrocharge boots from adidas in a recent 442 competition – but says this more than makes for it.
The competition winner will be writing a daily blog detailing the trip on easports.com.
