Harry Kane was the hero for England as his late goal secured a 2-1 win over a Tunisia side which fought hard throughout.
England took the lead through Kane who scored from close range from an Ashley Young corner in the 11th minute.
The Tottenham star followed up a John Stones header that was initially saved by Tunisian keeper Hassan.
In the 35th minute, Ferjani Sassi equalised for Tunisia after England defender Kyle Walker swung his arm in the face of Tunisian midfielder Fakhreddine Ben Youssef and conceded a penalty for a needless foul.
While Tunisia held England’s attack at bay, in the end captain Kane was the saviour with his 91st minute header, saving his side from what looked like being a disappointing 1-1 draw.

Jordan Pickford – (GK) 6
Didn’t do much except for picking the ball out of the net after Tunisia scored a penalty in the first half.
Kyle Walker 5
Was mostly solid in defence and was good on the ball but conceded a silly penalty in the 33rd minute.

John Stones 6
Was solid on the ball and strong in defence. His header led to Harry Kane’s goal but a swing and a miss in the 39th minute was not his best effort on goal.
Harry Maguire 7
A strong performance, marshalled his side well and was strong on corners at both ends. His header late on lead to Kane’s winner.
