Franjic announced his departure via Twitter, paying tribute to the West Australian club and saying he'd continue to support the team from afar.Ā 

"Iā€™m just going to enjoy some time in Melbourne with my girlfriend and family, and see what happens,ā€ he said in response to questions over his next club.

"I'd be lying if I said I knew."

Popovic is reportedly heading to Greece alongside former Western Sydney Wanderers assistant coach Arthur Diles, to take over Australian-owned Xanthi FC.

Joel Chianese is also thought to be leaving the club, with Glory owner Tony Sage already referring to substantial investment in the off-season.
