Franjic announced his departure via Twitter, paying tribute to the West Australian club and saying he'd continue to support the team from afar. 

"I’m just going to enjoy some time in Melbourne with my girlfriend and family, and see what happens,” he said in response to questions over his next club.

"I'd be lying if I said I knew."

Popovic is reportedly heading to Greece alongside former Western Sydney Wanderers assistant coach Arthur Diles, to take over Australian-owned Xanthi FC.

Joel Chianese is also thought to be leaving the club, with Glory owner Tony Sage already referring to substantial investment in the off-season.
