FORMER Central Coast Mariner Andre Gumprecht is training with F3 rivals Newcastle Jets as he looks for a fresh start.
The midfielder has joined up with Gary van Egmond's squad as the A-League champions continue their build up towards the big kick-off and defence of their title.
The former Mariner has been keeping himself match fit with NSW Premier League side Bankstown City.
Meanwhile, Johnny Warren Medal-winner Joel Griffiths has resumed training with the club after a month's break but his troublesome ankle injury is still not 100 per cent.
He will visit a specialist and have further scans on the injury, although he is able to play through the pain.
