A Sportivo Luqueno fan was shot dead after the 3-0 defeat to Libertad in the Paraguayan Clausura on Sunday.
Carlos Manuel Perez, 20, died after a fight broke out between rival fans on the road from Luque to San Lorenzo after the match at the Estadio Feliciano Caceres.
Three men have been detained in connection with the incident.
Libertad lead the Clausura on 32 points after 16 rounds, while Sportivo Luqueno lie second from bottom with 15 points.
