FRANK Farina is delighted with the momentum being generated by his Queensland Roar side as the Brisbane boys wait to see if the precious second spot proves permanent or merely temporary.

Saturday night's 4-2 triumph over Perth Glory was the club's fifth triumph in a row at Suncorp, albeit the home team had to battle back after falling behind to Nikita Rukavytsya's 21st minute goal for Glory.
Farina said: "I think it most probably woke us up a little bit as well and after that I was pretty pleased with the way we went about our work and our business on the park.
“Our last number of games here we’ve come home strongly and haven’t let too many things affect our mental attitude and physical attitude on the park.”
With Adelaide travelling to the Central Coast for their final game, Farina will hope the Mariners can deny the Reds to leave the Roar in second place.
He said: “We’ve done everything that we can. We’ve won by two goals but it’s out of our hands now.
“I’m happy that at least there’s a bit of pressure on Adelaide that they’ve got to win tomorrow.”
Victory over Glory saw another goal for Sergio Van Dijk, although he fell just short in the race for the golden boot.
Farina is happy with his form and that of his team - wherever they end up in the final table.
He said: "Big Sergio's in fantastic form. As long as we can maintain it (our form) we're in with a shot.
"I'll certainly be watching the game and hopefully central coast will be looking at trying to get a bit of form going into the finals and do a job for us."
