FRANK Farina was furious Victory hero Rodrigo Vargas was allowed to stay on the park after a two-footed tackle in the first half of his team's 2-1 loss to Victory.

Farina said: "I'd like to see it again but live it didn't look good. It looked double-foot over the ball.
"If that was Danny Tiatto, as long as my backside points to the ground, he would've got a red card.
"It's up to interpretation. The ref has to interpret it but it's not nice. That could break someone's leg and put their careers on the line.
"I thought Peter [O'Leary] had a good game though.
"I mean, Ryall [Sebastian] volleys him [Tiatto] in the first half and Danny gets a talking to."
Tiatto made a brief hand gesture when he was subbed off later in the game. "It could've been worse," said Farina.
The former Socceroo coach added it was his team's final ball that let them down. "In games like this you're not going to get too many chances. It's just the way the cookie crumbles. I can't complain about it and we move on."
