EXCLUSIVE: Despite losing four pre-season games – including Saturday night’s 4-0 drubbing at the hands of an impressive Sydney FC – Ian Ferguson has asked Fury fans to have faith in the new franchise.

Speaking after the bad loss at Shark Park in Sydney, Ferguson was furious at the way his players responded to the challenge, particularly in the second stanza.
"We got absolutely nothing out of the game... just a whipping. I'm very disappointed at the manner of how we played," he said. "I suppose I'm hurting a wee bit just now.
"I thought we played reasonably well in the first and we competed with Sydney... but Sydney in the second half just upped the pace and dominated. And silly goals to give away."
Fury looked ordinary on Saturday night with perhaps only Fred Agius from midfield and Scott Wilson at the back giving a reasonable account of themselves.
Ferguson readily admits his squad lacks depth right now.
"We know we need to get quality in," he said. "We're missing Fowler, Timpano, Robinson and Talay and an overseas player to come in on a visa spot. And I've got two U21s to sign.
"Hopefully then we can start being a stronger outfit. And that's what I'm looking for. Right now, it's about getting some fitness and shape pre-season but still, very, very disappointed."
Ferguson, while not making excuses, said the road trips over the last four to five weeks, including a game in Singapore, could have taken their toll.
And in brighter news, Fury are hopeful that star man Robbie Fowler will play at least some of the game in Perth against England's Wolves on July 15. The game is a curtain-raiser to the Glory v Fulham pre-season friendly.
Ferguson added: "Don't judge us yet. We've still a lot of players to come back and three players still to come in.
"I suppose the way the results in pre-season have went they [the critics] could be right. We've played four A-League clubs and been beaten by them so they may think we could be the whipping boys.
"But I've still no had my full team yet. Until that happens, then judge us."
