Retired Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson was named LMA Manager of the Year on Monday.
Ferguson – who stepped down from his Old Trafford post earlier this month after more than 26 years at the club – led United to 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cup wins and two UEFA Champions League successes.
One of those Premier League wins came this season as United finished 11 points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
It was a truly dominant campaign for Ferguson's men and it was no surprise when he was given the honour by the League Managers Association (LMA) at their annual ceremony in London.
No manager has won the award more times than Ferguson, who has now claimed it on four occasions.
Incoming United boss David Moyes, formerly of Everton, has won it three times – more than any other current manager.
Other awards handed out saw Wigan manager Roberto Martinez unsurprisingly named the FA Cup Manager of the Year after leading his team to an unlikely Wembley success.
Cardiff boss Malky Mackay won the Championship Manager of the Year award after the Welsh side won the title, while after Sunday's play-off success against Brentford, Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson claimed the League One Manager of the Year gong.
And after leading Gillingham to the title, Martin Allen was awarded the League Two Manager of the Year.
