Adelaide United have bundled Melbourne Victory out of the FFA Cup, while Heidelberg United progressed after a dramatic penalty shootout over Sydney United on Wednesday.

The NPL Victoria club got the perfect start with Leigh Minopoulos netting inside the first 60 seconds after a goalmouth scramble.
South doubled their advantage five minutes prior to the break with a sweeping move ending with Nick Epifano scoring.
Sorrento's Sean Canham was sent off shortly prior to the interval, leaving the visitors with a mountain to climb.
Milos Lujic headed in a third, before Scott Witschge netted a late consolation. Epifano grabbed his second, after Jesse Daley's pass, to seal an emphatic win deep into stoppage-time.

The Bergers edged United at Edensor Park after a dramatic penalty shootout, with goalkeeper Chris Theodoridis clinching the win with a spotkick save.
After the match ended goalless after 90 minutes, Sean Ellis put the Bergers ahead in extra-time.
United levelled through Adrian Vranic with barely a minute remaining before the game went to penalties.
Panni Nikas missed United's first penalty and Heidelberg converting all four of their spotkicks, before Theodoridis denied Yianni Fragogianni to secure their quarter-final spot.

Gold Coast edged their NPL Queensland opponents after the game went to extra-time following a goalless draw at Wolter Park.
Sam Smith won and converted a penalty on 108 minutes for City to clinch their progress to the final eight.
