NPL Victoria are oozing ambition as they launch their new look for the 2017 season in a bid to attract higher attendances at local games.
The 2016 NPLVIC season was considered a success by the FFV which has instigated a fresh and contemporary campaign designed to boost attendances at a grassroots level.
There has been much talk about expanding the A-League, and in particular, inducting South Melbourne into Australian football’s top flight.
The project also aims to improve its quality as a second tier competition to the A-League.

FFV general manager, commercial and media Anthony Grima said the contemporary new presentation of the league would harness Victoria's appetite for football.
“From participation, to audience, to commercial investment, football is growing rapidly,” Grima said.
“NPL Victoria and its competing teams had a number of exciting highs in 2016. With football growing so rapidly in Victoria it is vital that we are at the cutting edge when it comes to presenting and promoting both FFV and the premier competitions we administer.
“It is the strength and hard work of our fantastic NPL clubs that create the big occasions that fans want to attend and a growing audience wants to watch online.
“FFV is proud to collaborate with our clubs on enhancing NPL Victoria's media and presentation.”
More than 5000 spectators attended the 2016 NPL Grand Final between South Melbourne and Oakleigh Cannons in September at Lakeside Stadium.
The season kicks off in a fortnight.
