The club are holding an 11am (local time) press conference to reveal Robbie's intentions - but it looks like the Liverpool hero dubbed God by fans could be on his way to Townsville.

Fowler's agent George Scott sent Fury a two page long list of items needing to be filled before any deal could go through but the club is confident it can meet any requests the player may have.

"I have to go and work through that now, but I'm comfortable with that," club chairman Don Matheson told the Townsville Bulletin.

"There doesn't look like there is any drop-out issues there at all."

He added: "It's a substantial move for them and some of the things they have asked us (for) have taken a couple of days longer to get answers than what we thought," Matheson said earlier yesterday.

"Considering we're talking about a two-year stay here and we're only talking about a couple of days (late in) making that decision, we're certainly not upset with it."

"I've always had a good feeling from the start," he said. "He's got a tough manager that's looked after him for a long time and he's making sure we do everything right.

"But, at the end of the day, I believe that we have satisfied him."
