Fenerbahce ran out 4-2 winners at home to Manisaspor, with Mamadou Niang's second-half double vital.
De Souza Alex and Diego Lugano were also on target for the victors, while Isaac Promise and Josh Simpson scored for Manisaspor.
Besiktas defeated Karabukspor 4-1 on their own turf despite Emmanuel Emenike giving the home side the lead in the first minute.
Mert Nobre cancelled that out and then put his side ahead before second-half strikes from Guti and Ricardo Quaresman added the gloss.
