Castro was replaced after 17 minutes with a left hamstring problem, while Risdon couldn’t take his place in the starting XI following an issue in the warm-up.

It was initially reported Risdon had hurt his knee, but coach Kenny Lowe later confirmed it was a quad issue.

“He did his quad in the warm-up,” Lowe said.

“He just felt it, the physio tested him and said it wasn’t worth the risk.”

Lowe confirmed both would be assessed over the coming days, with Glory flying back to Perth on Friday.

“We’ll know the more in the next couple of days,” he said.

“We’ll ice it now and see how it goes. We’ll know more in the next day or two.”

Perth were boosted in getting valuable game-time into Adam Taggart and Shane Lowry following injuries, with the pair replacing the injured duo respectively.

“Both of them got through the game,” Lowe said.

“Out of the dark cloud, there’s a silver cloud and we move on to the next game.”

Perth are fourth on the table, having lost its past two away games 4-1 to Sydney and 2-0 to the Mariners.

“We’re a little bit up and down at the moment,” Lowe said.

“Someone was saying we’ve been here 16 times and only won once.

“I was confident we’d come this time around and get something out of the game. It wasn’t to be.”
