Former Australia youth international Golgol Mebrahtu scored two goals as his Czech club Mlada Boleslav won 3-2 away to Shamrock Rovers in the Europa League overnight.
Mebrahtu opened the scoring on 35 minutes and made it 2-1 on 65 minutes in the win in Dublin.
The former Western Sydney Wanderers, Melbourne Heart and Gold Coast United man was replaced in stoppage-time.

Mebrahtu enjoyed a strong debut season in Europe last term, scoring eight goals in 21 games.
The result, inspired by the 26-year-old Aussie, gives Mlada the edge ahead of the return leg in their second qualifying round clash.

Elsewhere in the Europa League overnight, Jimmy Jeggo was an unused sub as Sturm Graz suffered a shock 1-0 loss at home to Montenegrin outfit Mladost.
Tomi Juric was absent, given an extended break after the Confederations Cup, as Luzern lost 2-0 away to Osijek.
