Socceroos winger Craig Goodwin has scored on his starting debut for Sparta Rotterdam in a 3-0 win away to PEC Zwolle overnight.
Goodwin, who joined Sparta from Adelaide United in the off-season, scored in the 58th minute in the Eredivisie.
The 24-year-old Australian found space on the left side just outside the box on the break after receiving a pass from Stijn Spierings.
Goodwin took four touches as he entered the box, before firing a right-foot strike which took a deflection and looped over the keeper to make it 2-0.

The former Adelaide flyer was making his full debut after starting from the bench in Sparta’s season opening defeat against Ajax last week following shin splints in pre-season.
Goodwin was replaced after 85 minutes, while fellow Aussie Kenny Dougall was demoted to the bench and entered the fray after 77 minutes.
Dougall wore the number 10 shirt when he started in midfield in Sparta’s opener against Ajax, but was handed the number 15 shirt for their second clash.
