Greece manager Fernando Santos has been dealt another blow with Giorgos Fotakis suffering a knee injury in training on Sunday.
The PAOK midfielder is due to have a scan to determine the extent of the setback, and it could severely deplete the coach's options for the upcoming game with the Czech Republic.
The Greeks drew 1-1 with Poland in the opening game of Euro 2012 and had Sokratis Papastathopoulos harshly sent off before Avraam Papadopoulos was forced to leave the field on a stretcher.
It was claimed Santos wanted Kostas Katsouranis to move back into the heart of the defence, with Fotakis the most likely reinforcement in central midfield.
However, if Fotakis does not recover in time, the Portuguese boss will have to do yet more reshuffling of personnel ahead of Tuesday's encounter with Michal Bilek's troops.
