BLACKBURN Rovers' new boss Paul Ince is poised to make a £3.5 million ($A7.49 million) bid for Torino midfielder and Australia star Vince Grella.
The move comes amid reports that rival Barclays Premier League club Fulham are also still keen to lure Grella, who is reportedly keen to leave the Italian Serie A club.
The Daily Mail reported that Ince "hopes to close the deal for around £3.5 million".
If successful, Grella would join fellow Socceroo Brett Emerton, who last month signed a new four-year contract to stay with Rovers.
