NEWCOMER Melbourne Heart has made another signing as it edges towards its first A-League campaign, this time a world-renowned star with slick moves and a great reputation.
The club has announced music superstar Jon Bon Jovi as its number one International Ticket Holder.
The American is the owner of Arena Football League team Philadelphia Soul and has purchased four premium memberships to the Heart's home games, ready to donate the passes to football fans that would not have the chance to sit in VIP due to financial reasons.
A lifelong sports fan, Bon Jovi is preparing for an Australian tour later this year but is preparing to donate four seats to fans of the Heart.
"I like to think I pour my heart into whatever I do, so supporting Melbourne Heart FC seemed pretty natural, but I wanted to see if I could share that feeling a little ... especially with Heart fans that maybe have the heart, but not the opportunity to show their support," he said.
The famed musician has had record sales in excess of 130 million worldwide, a career as a movie and TV actor, induction into the American Songwriter's Hall of Fame and involvement in the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.
Fans can apply for the Bon Jovi VIP tickets on the club's official website from Monday.
