WELLINGTON Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert will link up with Sunderland manager Roy Keane during his stint with the All Blacks.
Keane and Herbert will study Graham Henry's coaching methods together as part of their UEFA pro licence course.
Both men will require the licence should they wish to coach in the Premier League from the 2010/11 season.
Former Wolves and All Whites defender Herbert told Radio Sport: "I floated the idea with the powers that be and they were happy with that,
"Roy was quite excited about it, so we'll be doing it together. We're not rugby people, so we're not digesting statistics or tactics.
"We'll use an international team as our club and talk to some of the key people about structural things."
The pair will link up with Henry and his squad for their series against Ireland and England in June.
