WESTERN Sydney Wanderers' midfielder Youssouf Hersi has received a two-match suspension for kicking out at Perth Glory defender Scott Jamieson during the new side's gutsy 1-0 win.
Hersi received a straight red card for the incident which reduced his team to 10 men with nearly an hour to play in the match.
The Dutchman lashed out at Jamieson for a strong challenge that brought him to ground.
Hersi will now sit out upcoming clashes against the Melbourne Victory at Parramatta Stadium and the Phoenix in Wellington.
The match review panel also clarified two official goalscorers fromn the weekend's round.
They gave one to Jeronimo Neumann for Adelaide United instead of an own goal by Melbourne Heart's Simon Colosimo, and another was awarded to Matt Smith instead of Thomas Broich for Brisbane Roar against Sydney FC.
