Australian midfielder James Holland has agreed a return to the Austrian Bundesliga with newly promoted side LASK Linz.
The former Socceroo midfielder has been searching for a new club after his sudden departure from Chinese outfit Liaoning Whowin.
Holland left Liaoning in May because of unpaid wages. He made just one appearance for the Chinese Super League side after his arrival from Adelaide United in January.
Now the 28-year old has secured a move back to a familiar country and competition, having played in Austria with Austria Wien after an unsuccessful spell at AZ Alkmaar.
LASK secured promotion from the second division after being crowned as champions last season. They dominated the Austrian Football First League, the second division, finishing 17 points head of FC Liefering.
Die Schwarz-Weißen were founded in 1908 and are based in the city of Linz.
