Bundaberg Spirit Vs Capricorn Cougars, Sat 16th May - 7:00pm, Martens Oval, Bundaberg

After suffering what was described by coach Richard Mitchell as their poorest performance in QSL history, Bundaberg Spirit will attempt to regain their composure when they host fellow regional side Capricorn Cougars on Saturday night.

After taking four points from their two games against the Cougars last year, they are the ideal opponent for the Spirit, who only managed a total of 10 points in the 2008 season.

Cougars go into the game in better form, having come from behind in round nine to take a share of the spoils in their local derby with Whitsunday Miners.

MATCH OF THE ROUND: NQ Razorbacks Vs Brisbane Strikers FC, Sat 16th May - 7:00pm, Brolga Park, Townsville

Buoyed by the most impressive winning margin in Hyundai QSL and club history, Brisbane Strikers will aim to keep their form intact when they travel to Townsville to play the NQ Razorbacks at Brolga Park.

NQ coach Mick Tonner was disappointed with his side's second half performance last weekend, and will want his players to put in a determined performance against the team sitting second on the table.

As Redlands City Devils have the round ten bye, Razorbacks will overhaul them and take third place if they manage a victory.

Whitsunday Miners Vs Logan United FC, Sat 16th May - 7:30pm, Harrup Park, Mackay

Despite recruiting well in the off-season, Logan United's season has not gone quite as planned with only two wins to their name after nine rounds.

This weekend they come up against Whitsunday Miners at Harrup Park  in a game that both teams will perceive as 'must win'.

Both sides will be looking to improve on their performances from last weekend - Miners letting a two goal lead slip to draw with Cougars while Logan lost to league pacesetters Olympic FC.

FNQ Bulls Vs Queensland Academy of Sport, Sat 16th May - 8:00pm, Borzi Park, Mareeba

Queensland Academy of Sport travel to Mareeba, with coach Peter de Roo in charge for the first time.

QAs had the bye last weekend, and have used the week wisely to prepare for their first ever encounter with FNQ Bulls.

The Bulls will be hoping for another large home crowd to push them to their fourth victory of the season.

Olympic FC Vs Sunshine Coast FC, Sun 17th May - 6:00pm, Goodwin Park, Yeronga, Brisbane

Olympic FC take on struggling Sunshine Coast FC in the round's late kick-off on Sunday night.

Sunshine Coast's nightmare season continued midweek with yet another player leaving the club - Scott Rocker - but Oh-Kyun Gong's sizzling form on debut last weekend will give the Club a reason to be confident going into the clash.

Despite the fact they sit eighth on the table, Sunshine Coast FC still have players capable of scoring goals and Olympic will not underestimate their opponents.

On the other hand, Olympic will be without midfielder Hyuk-Su Seo, who is currently on leave in Korea, but their own debutant last weekend, Brad Lacey, is another influential midfield option.
