Sunshine Coast FC Vs Capricorn Cougars, Sat 4th Jul - 4:00pm, Stockland Park, Kawana, Sunshine Coast

Sunshine Coast FC play host to Capricorn Cougars on Saturday afternoon in a quest for their seventh win in a row.

Capricorn Cougars comprehensively beat the Coast side 3-0 in their encounter earlier in the season, but Cougars will know they will be facing a very different side, now full of confidence and third on the ladder.

Brad Smith will be hoping his troops can pull off an impressive performance against the reigning Premiers but knows his side has had some inconsistent form this season.

With captain Roy Bob unlikely to take the field, Cougars will look to their other experienced players to step up and control the play in the middle of the park.

Redlands City Devils Vs FNQ Bulls, Sat 4th Jul - 6:00pm, Cleveland Showground, Brisbane

After suffering their second loss this season to NQ Razorbacks last weekend, a win is the only option for Redlands City Devils on Saturday night against FNQ Bulls.

FNQ Bulls had the bye last round and will fancy their chances against the Devils, despite losing 4-2 in a six goal thriller in Round 5 when they were 2-0 up at the half-time break.

If you plan on attending the game, head there early to catch a Brisbane Qualifier for Red Bull Street Style's search for Australia's best freestyle footballer. The fun starts at 3.30pm.

MATCH OF THE ROUND: Olympic FC Vs NQ Razorbacks, Sat 4th Jul - 7:00pm, Goodwin Park, Yeronga, Brisbane

After climbing to the top of the ladder after last weekend's 8-0 thrashing of Bundaberg Spirit, Olympic FC's opponents this week are NQ Razorbacks at home.

It is important for the Razorbacks to keep winning if they want to stay within reach of the top four but face a fierce opponent in Olympic who will be hard to beat.

Their 2-1 win over Redlands City Devils last weekend marked the end of a month-long winless streak, and captain Paul Sapelli, who put in a man of the match performance which included the equalising goal, and said that his team would need to show the same fighting spirit against Olympic.

"It's important that I back up this week and so do all the other lads.

"They have to play equally as well as they did on the weekend for us to get the result."

In a blow for the Razorbacks, they will be without Nathan Whitton (suspended) and Josh Searle is in doubt after straining his groin against the Devils.

Whitsunday Miners Vs Bundaberg Spirit, Sun 5th Jul - 3:00pm, Harrup Park, Mackay

With just one win between Whitsunday Miners and Bundaberg Spirit so far this season, each side will see this weekend's clash as their best chance to collect three points.

Spirit coach Brett Hambrecht said after last week's loss to Olympic, that he was "really looking forward to the game and I honestly believe it will be our first win".

Bundaberg will be wary though - Miners only win came against them in Round 5 when they won 6-1 and Michael van Moolenbroek managed a hat-trick.

Queensland Academy of Sport Vs Logan United FC, Sun 5th Jul - 4:00pm, Lions Stadium, Richlands, Brisbane

Dubbed mid-week as a "six-pointer", both sides will be eager for a win, with just two points and one place on the ladder between them.

Their clash at Clem Jones Fields in Round 5 ended at a 2-2 draw.
