Redlands City Devils claimed the final spot in the league's top four, after they beat Queensland Academy of Sport 4-2 on Friday night.
FNQ Bulls 0 - Brisbane Strikers 2
Brisbane Strikers finished off the regular season in style, defeating FNQ Bulls 2-0 away from home at Mareeba.
Their first penalty of the season, coolly converted by Luke Morley in the first half sent them on their way, before Morley got his second 15 minutes from time.
NQ Razorbacks 4 - Capricorn Cougars 1
NQ Razorbacks ensured their departing skipper Paul Sapelli went out on a winning note, prevailing 4-1 over local rivals Capricorn Cougars.
Cougars started on the better note, with striker Tristan Fraser netting just sixty minutes in but Sapelli equalised twenty minutes later.
Joshua Searle put the Razorbacks ahead before the break before a goal from David Mayes and a penalty from Sapelli in the second stanza made the final score line 4-1.
Redlands City Devils 4 - Queensland Academy of Sport 2
Redlands City Devils secured their spot in the 2009 finals series with a comprehensive 4-2 victory over Queensland Academy of Sport.
Redlands took the lead through Chris Bale and Danny Byrne, but Bobby Russell pulled one back for QAS just before half-time.
QAS equalised in the second half through Jordan Farina, but Redlands made sure of maximum points after goals from Russell Woodruffe and Cadeau Aoci.
Bundaberg Spirit 1 - 2 Logan United
Bundaberg Spirit ended the 2009 season without a win, after going down 2-1 to Logan United on Saturday night.
After a goalless first half, Logan United drew the first blood when Alistair Campbell found the back of the net but the Spirit equalised in spectacular fashion, through a superb goal from Arian Dubroy, returning from the Queensland Schoolboys competition.
At one stage, tt looked like the game might end on level terms, but Felip Nechifor netted two minutes from time to give United the win.
Whitsunday Miners 1 - Sunshine Coast FC 4
A four-goal haul to last year's Golden Boot winner Shaun Blackman gave Sunshine Coast FC momentum going into the finals, beating tenth-placed Whitsunday Miners 4-1.
Blackman netted a first half hat-trick, including one penalty, and scored again in the 88th minute to secure the victory.
The Miners' consolation goal was scored by Daniel Scotton.
Sunshine Coast FC had already secured third place and a home semi-final.
