Ibrahimovic failed to convince in his first season at the Nou Camp following a big-money move from Inter Milan last summer and ended the campaign on the bench.

Barca have since signed Spain striker David Villa for 40million euros and with an array of attacking talent at their disposal, it had looked as if the Swede may be moving on this summer.

Coach Pep Guardiola also recently claimed the player could leave if he wanted to, but Ibrahimovic says he has never considering quitting Barca.

"During the summer, many clubs have been mentioned, but we haven't spoken to any of them," he told reporters before Barca's friendly with Valerenga in Norway.

"They are rumours and I take it positively because they value my work. I have never had doubts about wanting to stay - for me it's free publicity, so thank you."

And Ibrahimovic says he is happy with the arrival of Villa.

"He's a great signing. I'm happy he's here because he is one of the best in the world," he said.

"We will be stronger and we'll have more opportunities to win."

Ibrahimovic says his aim, as when he arrived at Barca, is to win the Champions League.

"I want to win everything, but my main objective is the Champions League," he said.

Ironically, following his departure from Inter, the Italian side won the Champions League last season, under Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho is now the coach of Real Madrid and Ibrahimovic is looking forward to the challenge of facing his former boss.

"Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world," he said.

"He is an expert at taking teams to the top, but we are the best team in the world."
