Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti was breathing a sigh of relief after second-placed AC Milan failed to capitalise on the league leaders' failure to beat Chievo.
The three-time defending champions were held to a 2-2 draw by Chievo, but Juventus battled and drew 1-1 with AC Milan.
Inter, who are seven points clear of AC Milan with three games remaining, could end up celebrating their fourth straight Scudetto as early as next weekend at the San Siro.
"I feel much better," said Moratti.
"Yesterday afternoon I was rather annoyed not because of the Scudetto but because we allowed Chievo to draw when we were twice ahead.
"Juve have given us a hand and the result between Milan and Juventus was a fair outcome.
"Now we are calmer, the team has less pressure and at home we should try to win."
Inter host Siena knowing that a win will be enough to clinch the title.
The Nerazzurri could already have won the title by then if Milan fail to claim maximum points at in-form Udinese 24 hours earlier.
