Jackson Irvine had to be replaced overnight after suffering a groin problem in struggling Burton Albion’s goalless draw away to Derby County in England’s Championship.
Albion coach Andy Garner confirmed after the game that Irvine was substituted at half-time due to a groin issue.
Irvine, who has played 32 games this campaign, had missed three games during January due to a groin injury.
The injury comes at poor timing for the 23-year-old, with Australia coach Ange Postecoglou set to next week name his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Iraq and UAE.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Aaron Mooy put in a full shift as Huddersfield maintained their winning run with a 1-0 triumph over Reading.
Huddersfield sits third on the table after six consecutive wins, four points behind second-placed Brighton and four points ahead of fourth-placed Reading.
Massimo Luongo was an unused substitute as midtable QPR defeated Wigan 2-1.
In League One, Chris Herd played a full game for Gillingham, while Bradden Inman was an unused sub for Peterborough.
