THE agent of Diego Milito claims Serie A sides Juventus and Roma are close to tabling bids for the Real Zaragoza forward.
The Argentinian has been attracting a lot of attention since Zaragoza were relegated from the Spanish top flight at the end of last season.
Zaragoza know it will be tough to convince Milito to play in the Segunda Division next term but are reluctant to sell him at a discounted price, meaning a season-long loan deal may be an option.
"Diego Milito can leave Zaragoza on loan, as Real cannot keep him in the second division," explained Milito's agent, Fernando Hidalgo. "But as they value him highly, they won't want to let him go on the cheap.
"The noises coming out of Roma suggested they might want him, although the club have denied this.
"Juventus is a possibility, but at the moment I have not received anything directly from them, but that doesn't mean they are not talking about him."
Hidalgo went on to insist that his client would be happy to play to return to Serie A following a stint with Genoa three years ago
He said: "Diego is fine at Zaragoza but he would happily go back to Italy."
Meanwhile, reports in Spain suggest Valencia have asked Milito not to sign for any club until they are certain about the future of Euro 2008 top scorer David Villa.
