Maddison clearly took the three points in this Twitter war of words
Leicester City midfielder James Maddison and former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson have been involved in a hilarious war of words over Twitter.
Clarkson called out Maddison for his performance against Chelsea in last night's 1-1 draw, where the Englishman missed a costly chance in the 72nd minute.
Clarkson said: "Jame Maddison. Too long at the barber's. Not enough time practising football."

Despite the miss, Maddison provided the corner assist for Wilfred Ndidi's header that levelled the game after Ndidi's mistake led to the earlier Chelsea goal.
Maddison, not allowing Clarkson to get away with the tweet hit back with a brilliant reply.
He said: "Stick to cars mate. Can count on 1 hand how many trims you've got left #thin"

Maddison seemingly got the better of Clarkson in the hair-related Twitter beef however, he was left unhappy after Leicester only picked up a point at Stamford Bridge.
Maddison told Sky Sports: "You see the lads on their knees there because ultimately, we're coming away disappointed."
"We had chances, myself included, and if you come to Stamford Bridge and you play like that, you have to score the chances you create.
"I'm sure we'll watch that game back and be disappointed we didn't come away with three."
Last night's fixture was Frank Lampard's first game in charge of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, in what has been a disappointing start to his managerial tenure.
