ADELAIDE United defender Scott Jamieson is heading for a trial with German Second Division club Greuther Fürth, the club revealed.
The 21 year old will depart for Germany from Hong Kong, where he will leave United's squad as they return home to Adelaide from Korea following their scoreless draw with the Pohang Steelers.
Jamieson played in last night's Asian Champions League match which secured the Reds a place in the knockout round of 16 after successfully qualifying from their group stage with two games to spare.
Jamieson's United contract comes to an end after the club's Round of 16 encounter but he will be back in Adelaide in time for the Reds' final Group Stage match against China's Shandong Luneng.
The game at Hindmarsh Stadium on April 27 could determine if United can finish top of Group H.
