Junichi Inamoto has been called into Japan's squad for the Kirin Cup, the Japan Football Association has announced.
The 27-year-old midfielder agreed a two-year deal with German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday and is expected to join the Japan squad on Wednesday after completing a medical in Germany.
The former Gamba Osaka, Fulham and West Bromwich midfielder made 25 league appearances for the Turkish club, scoring once during the Champions League meeting with Bordeaux in November.
Inamoto, who has played 65 matches for Japan including appearances at the 2002 and 2006 World Cup, will join fellow Japan international Naohiro Takahara at Galatasaray.
Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura, Takahara and defender Koji Nakata of Swiss club FC Basel were initially the only three overseas based players included by Ivica Osim in a 27-man squad announced on Sunday.
Nakamura is an injury doubt for July's Asian Cup after suffering an ankle injury during Celtic's Tennent's Scottish Cup final victory over Dunfermline at Hampden Park.
Japan will play Montenegro on June 1 in Shizuoka and Colombia on June 5 in Saitama in the annual tri-nation tournament, which will be a key warm-up before they begin the defence of their Asian Cup title in July.
