Mile Jedinak could be on his way out of Aston Villa after the Championship club failed to be promoted back into the Premier League.
Villa went down to Fulham 1-0 in the Championship playoff final at Saturday.
The Midlands club is expected to be forced to sell some of its top players in the off-season to trim its huge wage bill.
Financial Fair Play restrictions could also hit Villa hard.
According to The Irish Mirror, Jedinak is one of the club's top earners with a salary of £2 million (around $3.5 million) per year.
Midfielder Jack Grealish is also a prize asset and could demand a large transfer fee.
The Australian turns 34 in August. Jedinak made 28 first-team appearances for Villa this season and was a regular once he had returned from injury.
